Coaching depot/Tirupati & Guntakal
Micro Controller Simulation Kit:
To check and monitoring the working of Micro controller used in LHB AC coaches, one Micro Controller Simulation Kit is developed in house at AC Depot Tirupati.
LHB AC coach IV coupler assembly:
Working Model of the IV Coupler assembly has been developed in AC depot Tirupati, to explain and to impart hands on Training to AC escorting staff with regards to the procedure of providing the IV Couplers in LHB Coaches and the safety aspects associated with it.
Provision of LED lights in coaches:
In Guntakal Division, all 592 coaches (AC & Non AC) conventional lights were replaced with LED luminaries.
Provision of PIS system in coaches:
In AC coaching depot, TPTY all 86 nos of AC coaches were provided with Passenger information system (PIS).
Provision of Anti V-Belt slippage clamp:
In view of safety 456 nos of Non-AC coaches were provided with Anti V-Belt slippage clamps to avoid belt slippage on enroute.
Provision of fire balls in power cars:
08 nos of power cars have been equipped with fireballs to avoid fire incidences and safety of electrical equipments.
Provision of EFT & BCT in LHB Non AC coaches:
Provision of Emergency feed terminals (EFTs) and Battery charging terminals (BCTs) in LHB Non AC Coaches.
