 Multi colored LED façade lightings for stations

Easy and aesthetic look for stations, all NSG-2 & NSG-3 category station buildings have been decorated / installed with multicolored LED façade lights.

   

    

Conversion of HOG system:

GTL is the First Division to complete 100% HOG conversion Over SCR (Most Probably in IR as well).Coaching Depot/TPTY has done excellent job in converting 04 Express Trains (06 Rakes) from EOG to HOG system.

Green rating of station & service buildings:

Guntakal division has bagged three IGBC green rating awards 1) Tirupati Railway station-GOLD, 2) Guntakal Railway station-GOLD and 3) Divisional Railway Manager’s office building, Guntakal-PLATINUM Rating has received by the Indian Green Building Council.

             


100% LED stations:

Entire 157 stations of GTL division were converted as 100% LED lit stations as a part of energy conservation measures duly replacing 17175 conventional fittings and achieved savings to the tune of Rs.55 Lakhs per annum.

                         

100% LED residential quarters:100% LED lights provided in 3833 nos of Residential Quarters over Guntakal Division by duly providing with 30525 nos of LED fittings.

Natural light pipe system:

Due to Implementation of Energy conservation, 02 nos Natural light pipe systems have been installed at Pakala and Chittoor stations.

                       

Air conditioning of Running rooms:

In Guntakal Division all 09 no’s of Running Rooms have provided with (1.5TR-92 nos, 2.0TR-94) 186 nos of Split Air Conditioners at RC, GTL, GY, DHNE, MOO, DMM, NRE, RU and TPTY for comfort of Loco-Pilots and Guards.

AC waiting halls:


For comfort of Passengers, waiting halls have been provided with Air conditioners at Raichur, Guntakal, Kadapa, Renigunta and Tirupati stations.


Premium paid lounge:


Air conditioned Premium Lounges with all modern facilities has been provided at Tirupati and Guntakal stations in as an improved Passenger Amenities.

Roof top solar power plants:

As a part of the National Solar Mission, The Govt. of India, Indian Railways has taken Green initiative to provide the solar plants on the roof top of Railway station. Guntakal division has been installed 1.073MWp solar power plants (Department - 213kWp, PPA mode - 860kWp). This results in reduction of carbon foot print to the tune of 1400 MT/year.

Provision of Solar pumps:

To implement Energy conservation measures and adopt new technology, Guntakal division has been installed 80.50 kWp capacity of solar plants for exclusively for pumps.

Savings:62082units / Annum

Saved:Rs.5.89 lakh / Annum

Reduction of Carbon footprints: 55.70MT/Year.

Illumination level:

Illumination levels at platforms, circulating area, FOB and concourse area improved like Airport standard at Tirupati, Raichur & Yadgir stations.

                      

LED 3-dimentional Water hydrent lights:

In view of safety, three dimensional 21W LED fittings along the watering hydrant line for train watering stations.


Stand alone solar street lights:

Solar based LED 21w St. Lights provided in place of normal LED fittings at Railway institute, Officers club and Station circulating area.
