In view of World Environment Day, 5th June - 2024, mission life events were held at the Railway Sports Complex / Secunderabad by Hyderabad division and witnessed enthusiastic participation from all invited dignitaries, staff and Sports Persons. The following activities are conducted over Hyderabad Division:
1. Inauguration of Rain Water Harvesting Pits
DRM/HYB Inaugurated 6 Rainwater harvesting pits at various locations within the Railway Sports Complex highlighted the importance of rainwater harvesting in sustainable water management and demonstrated the functioning of the pits.
2. Mass Tree Plantation by DRM Sir, ADRM Sir, CPM GS Sir, all branch officers, and sports persons
The tree plantation drive aimed at enhancing the green cover and promoting environmental conservation. The chosen saplings are native species known for their ecological benefits. Nearly 200 saplings were planted in four designated spots within the RSC Ground.
3. Walkathon - Walk for Environment
DRM/HYB, ADRM/HYB, CPM/GS, all branch officers, staff members, and sports persons were participated in Walkathon on designated path within the RSC Ground to raise environmental awareness.
The walkathon emphasized the importance of physical activity in maintaining a healthy lifestyle while promoting environmental. Participants carried banners and slogans supporting environmental conservation.

1.CMS/HYB, DMO /HU /KCG, SD/KCG, AEnHM/HYB, all station supervisors and HK staff participated in Walkathon from Health Unit to KCG Station.
2.Tree plantation done at HU/KCG by CMS/KCG, DMO/HU/KCG, SD/KCG, AEnHM/HYB and CHI’s.
3.Tree Plantation done by station supervisors at Raghavendra road entry Side Park.

2.Tree plantation done at STP/NZB. SMR/NZB, SSE/IOW/NZB, CCI/NZB, SSE/Elec/NZB, CLI/NZB, HI/NZB, SI/RPF/NZB, ASI/RPF/NZB along with staff, Goods guards, Points men, 1098 Child Line Help Desk and all Housekeeping staff were participated.
